Chocolate Production Team Member (Casual)

Cremorne · Usual days Monday to Friday · Start as soon as possible

Join our team at 68 Gwynne Street, Cremorne, making organic chocolate from bean to bar. This entry level role includes training, so you don’t need previous experience making chocolate.

About the role

You’ll work with our Production Manager to support daily production and an organised kitchen.

  • Learn chocolate production tasks such as cacao sorting, roasting and tempering under supervision.
  • Wrap, label and pack chocolate, prepare ingredients and handle stock carefully.
  • Work to our recipes, methods and production schedule, and flag quality concerns.
  • Follow hygiene, food safety and allergen procedures, keeping accurate production and food safety records.
  • Help with kitchen setup, pack down and daily cleaning.

About you

You’re dependable, punctual and keen to learn, with good organisation and an eye for detail. You’re comfortable with repetitive work, following instructions, asking questions and receiving feedback. You communicate clearly and enjoy working in a team. Kitchen or food production experience is helpful but isn’t required.

Retail Assistant (Casual, Mandarin)

Fitzroy · 2 to 3 days per week, including Saturdays

We’re looking for a warm, capable and reliable Retail Assistant with Mandarin language skills to join our shop team for 2 to 3 days per week. Weekend availability, including Saturdays, is essential, with occasional public holiday work where required.

About the role

  • Welcome customers, provide thoughtful, personalised service, and learn our products to confidently assist them.
  • Process sales, replenish stock, maintain neat displays and keep the shop clean, organised and inviting.
  • Support the daily running of the shop and assist with deliveries, events and product launches when required.

About you

  • Friendly and confident, with warm, professional communication and a genuine enjoyment of helping people.
  • Reliable, organised and attentive to detail; able to take initiative and work well within a small team.
  • Interested in our products and eager to learn. Retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Able to assist customers confidently in Mandarin.
  • Available to work weekends, including Saturdays.
